PROJECT: Southern Oregon University Housing
LOCATION: Medford, OR
PROJECT SCOPE:
This project was a new 90,000sf and 106,000sf college dormitories that received a LEED Gold rating on an existing campus. A 30,000sf new dining hall with full range kitchen to feed 950 students was also designed for LEED Gold Rating. UPS power utilized for exterior emergency lighting, provisions made for roll-up generator to serve kitchen’s coolers/freezers, and all three buildings designed to utilize daylight harvesting and building sweep controls for automatic lighting shut off during unoccupied modes.

9% total on-site renewable energy generation with completion of the rooftop solar PV arrays, currently under construction.
